Coal miners in the northern province of Baghlan came back to work after a two-day strike, officials said on November 28. A mining official in Baghlan said the workers had gone on strike because they were not being provided with housing. They threatened that if the government took no action to address their concerns, they would continue their strike. Officials in Baghlan promised the miners that they would resolve their problems.
