Arrests made in Kabul heist

Arman-e-Milli is an independent daily run by a group of journalists.

Security forces arrested three men in Kabul on February 26 on charges of stealing 320,000 US dollars from the Pakistani Habib Bank. A security official at Kabul police headquarters said the money was taken on February 19 when four armed robbers opened fire on a car belonging to the bank, leaving one policeman dead and two injured. The official said on condition of anonymity that three of the robbers are under arrest, but he gave no further details.
