Armed robber arrested on Kabul-Jalalabad highway

Islah is a state-run daily published mostly in Dari.

Police arrested a suspected robber on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway on the night of January 30. An Afghan interior ministry press officer confirmed the arrest, saying the suspect was detained in the Kaftar Khana area, and a gun and satellite phone seized at the same time. He added that police later caught five other suspects in the same area.
