Al-Mishhadani: No Embarrassment Over Our Problems

National assembly speaker Mahmood al-Mishhadani said members of parliament should not feel embarrassed to talk about the country's problems. He said they should instead treat the problems and find solutions for them. In his opening speech for the second session of parliament, Mishhadani said sectarianism was on the rise and that (leaders) need to work to change the phenomenon and to rebuild Iraq. He maintained that (leaders) should be biased only in favour of Iraq. He noted that parliament members are the leaders of Iraq and are building its future. They bear the responsibility of rendering the political process a success, he said.
