Al-Iraqia TV Journalist Shot Dead in Baghdad

London-based Azzaman is issued daily by Saad al-Bazaz.

Gunmen shot dead Al-Iraqia satellite TV presenter Nakhsheen Hamad and her driver as they crossed Baghdad’s Al-Talayie Square on their way to work on October 29. Al-Iraqia, the state TV station, said Hamad was a presenter on the Al-Atyaf sports channel and also worked for the station’s Kurdish section.
