Al-Hafidh: Evidence Will Be Presented on Electoral Violations

The Iraqi National List continuous its efforts to prepare documents and evidence on electoral violations and will send them to an international committee investigating results (from the December 15 parliamentary elections.) Mahdi al-Hafidh, a member of the Iraqi National List, said, “We have many documents and evidence about violations and offences in the elections.” He hoped that the findings would not aggravate any political slate, saying it is part of the democratic practice. He advised all political parties to solve all of the issues stemming from the election results.
