Kate Halenko

IWPR Ukraine Country Director Kate Halenko, a graduate of Syracuse University Law School and the CAS Institute for Security Policy,has an extensive background in criminal defence and strategic litigation in Ukrainian courts and the European Court for Human Rights. She also has more than ten years’ experience of delivering cross-sectoral technical assistance programmes in volatile and conflict environments, including violent changes of government, hybrid warfare and counter-terrorist operations.
