Abdumalik Kadirov

Abdumalik Kadirov is acting as Country Director for IWPR’s office in Tajikistan as well as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for Central Asian region since 2011. Malik’s background both in journalism and NGO sector development makes him an ideal in fulfilling IWPR’s mission to bring together the two main columns of civil society in Tajikistan, the Media and HR defenders. Mr. Kadirov has started his career in the voluntary sector as a volunteer in a small Tajik NGO and continued it in Counterpart International, U.S. Embassy to Tajikistan, and Soros Foundation. Malik is a respected civil society analyst who is very often quoted by local and international media.
