Najveće zabeležene poplave u Bosni i Hercegovini prisilile su skoro milion ljudi da napuste svoje domove i za sobom ostavile neopisivu štetu.

Poplavnim vodama i klizištima koje su one izazvale zahvaćeno je šezdeset opština. Najteže su pogođeni gradovi Doboj, Maglaj i Odžak, te okolna sela i usevi. Spasioci i volonteri već pomažu da se raščiste ruševine, ukloni mrtva stoka i popravi infrastruktura.

Sređivanje i obnova će verovatno potrajati godinama, što će rezultirati poteškoćama u održavanju državnog budžeta.
