Produced from our Crisis Reporting Centre and from locations across the continent, Africa Media Matters will include lively discussion, field reports and feature interviews that raise awareness of critical media situations and catalyse debate on African media developments. Our series will cover issues such as media law and regulation that effects press freedom; the security of journalists operating in conflict zones; the use of new media tools such as mobile phone technology; and the influence of the media on government policy.


In podcast format, Africa Media Matters is available online and on African radio stations, as well as being broadcast on a growing number of college campuses across the United States and Europe.
