The Institute for War & Peace Reporting is governed by senior journalists, peace-building experts, regional specialists and business professionals. All Members serve on the IWPR International Board, to provide strategic, guidance, issues and regional expertise, development and outreach assistance, and direct support.
Chief Financial Officer

Robyn joined IWPR in January 2014, bringing with her over 20 years of financial management experience in NGOs around the world, including ADRA, where she served as Vice President of Finance, Mercy Corps, and FHI360. Robyn is particularly proud to have worked in a number of field offices around the world, having spent extensive periods stationed in Thailand, Somalia, Albania, Azerbaijan, and Vietnam. Robyn holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administratio, with concentrations in Accounting and Management from the Southern University of Collegedale, TN and a Masters in International Development, concentration in Food Security from Andrews University of Berrian Springs, MI. In her capacity as Chief Financial Officer, Robyn is responsible for the organisation’s global finance function, overseeing the budgeting, accounting and reporting work of the HQ and field offices. 

Finance & Systems Accountant, UK

Tsigereda Tessema joined IWPR in 2013. Previously, she worked for an audit firm before joining IWPR. She has a degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently working towards an ACCA professional qualification.
