The Institute for War & Peace Reporting is governed by senior journalists, peace-building experts, regional specialists and business professionals. All Members serve on the IWPR International Board, to provide strategic, guidance, issues and regional expertise, development and outreach assistance, and direct support.

Bio

Tanya has over 20 years of experience in international development within fundraising, communications and senior management. Following an earlier career in advertising agencies, Tanya is committed to international development that is locally-driven and sustainable. She has a wide range of fundraising experience from European governments and international institutions, trusts and foundations to the private sector and with high net-worth individuals and other major donors.

Bio

Claire has 20 years’ experience of fundraising in the not-for-profit sector, specialising in securing income from charitable trusts and institutional donors. She spent a decade at the British Red Cross, where she raised £4 million from UK, US and European donors, and led a team responsible for raising £10 million annually. Prior to joining IWPR Claire was senior partnerships manager at Comic Relief UK, heading up a team that managed seven-figure partnerships with donors such as the UK department for international development, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Lottery Community Fund, to support programmes across the UK, Africa, and Asia.
