As Chief Development Officer Catherine is responsible for leading IWPR's fundraising and external communications work. She brings to IWPR more than 25 years experience in non-profit management. Prior to joining IWPR in 2014, Catherine headed up major gifts fundraising at Amnesty International and held senior positions at Planned Parenthood and the Long Island Children's Museum. She is also a former adjunct instructor for the George H. Heyman Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at New York University. She holds of B.A. in Medieval Studies from Mount Holyoke College.
Dido Michielsen has been working as a freelance journalist and editor since 1990. Recently, she worked for the City of Amsterdam on the communications department. She also is the author and co-author of several non-fiction books, and has been involved in communication and organisatorial projects in various capacities. She has written books and articles on international adoption plus two biographies. Since the beginning of 2015 she represents IWPR in the Netherlands as Senior Development Manager.
Melissa Marrocco joined IWPR's New York-based Development office in 2016. Before joining IWPR she worked at Girl Scouts of the USA and Lincoln Center Education. She has a degree in Writing for Publication, Performance and Media from Pratt Institute.
