Nigerian Election News Report

The Nigerian Election News Report (NENR) is Africa’s first-ever dedicated news service using mobile phones, run by journalists for journalists.

NENR provides a politically neutral platform for high quality daily news about the 2011 Nigerian elections. Stories are available free-of-charge via both mobile phone on the web, providing text and audio stories about the polls.

The service is based at the International Press Centre in Lagos and involves a team of experienced Nigerian journalists who gather stories from contributors across Nigeria.
