A background in research and policy work in Development and Environment but seduced by technology. Worked around East Africa in the 1990s with bulletin boards and the first live internet connections into East Africa. Completed the first thesis on the Digital Divide and then in the Noughties, worked on the Microfinance Gateway and for the São Paulo government. Additional spells of international consultancy in knowledge management, network collaboration and research management. Currently focusing on cloud development, mobile and baking.
