The good Iraqi citizen has the right to dream of a modern, constitutionally-based state of law. They have the right to dream of a peaceful and stable state where parents do not fear for their children's future. It is not that difficult to have paved roads, clean schools, parks where children can play and a good sewage system. It is a simple wish in the twenty-first century, when the poorest African state can provide these things to its citizens. Iraqis are severely oppressed. The average citizen's goal is only to guarantee his children's future; it is to put behind him years of agony with solutions to the many problems he must deal with.
