After Partial Pullout, Russia Still has Units in Southeast Ukraine

At least four battalion-sized tactic groups and heavy equipment of the Russian military remain inside Ukraine, while some forces and hardware have been withdrawn, Dmytry Timchuk, organiser of the Information Resistance group, reports on Facebook.

“After a certain proportion of Russian troops were withdrawn from the Donbas, at least four battalion-sized tactical groups of the Russian Federation remain on Ukrainian territory,” Tymchuk said. "A certain amount of hardware is being observed leaving for Russia, but the heavy weapons are not being withdrawn.”

In addition, a lot of traffic is been seen carrying freight.

“In recent days, a heavily protected convoy of six trucks arrived in Donetsk. Local [pro-Moscow] fighters are not being told what the freight is,” Tymchuk wrote. “Simultanously, three convoys of trucks crossed into Russia at the Izvarino checkpoint, also under heavy guard. The vehicles included BTR armoured personnel carriers.”
